Comfortable vacation rental close to convention center and major attractions Positive: Overall, it is clear that the hosts of this property care about getting it right. We had some issues (which I'll explain below), but I was able to call and connect with the host right away, and they fixed the problem as best they could. Nice coffee maker and full kitchen for those planning to stay and cook. For those attending a formal event or conference (like we were) the iron and ironing board was greatly appreciated (also laundry facilities). Negative: The listing said there were two beds in each room, but there was only one. Since we were a group of work colleagues, this required us to get a hotel room for one member of our group. The host offered to give us a partial refund to help offset this cost. Also, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the hide-a-bed was broken. The neighborhood is a bit rough, but it is close to the convention center and no one gave us any issues.

Beware!!!!!“Sleeps 6” should be at least 3 beds but you only get two beds and an AIR MATRESS. Sofa bed has been broken since Dec. 2022, read others reviews. Found dirty socks in the sofa bed while discovering the sofa bed was broken. The neighborhood has lots of homeless people and drug selling/using. I stepped out of a convenience store across the street to find a guy cooking/smoking crack. If I wasn’t 6’3”, 220 I would not have felt safe. I couldn’t let my family out of my sight. Thankfully I booked parking several blocks away so my car didn’t get broken into. Jake was awesome and quick to reply to all messages. The unit is really nice. Kitchen is great too. You can easily walk anywhere from the unit. We were at a conference nearby and the walk was easy. Lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby.

Awesome loft, concerns with location. Positive: Comfy beds, nice clean and modern loft. Negative: The neighborhood immediately outside had many homeless and seemingly mentally ill people using the block and the alley to the side as a meeting place or similar. We are early morning exercisers (6:30am) and being out numbered by strangers yelling or trying to talk to us as we exited our door was disconcerting. We felt the need to cover the door code as we punched it in and stayed at the bottom of the stairs until it was fully closed. We are from San Francisco so this is not a new experience but I foolishly didn’t explore the neighborhood well in Spokane.

This place met our needs (male business colleagues) with two bedrooms and ample common space. Very clean and comfortable and reasonable walk to river area. Be aware that there are the equivalent of about two stories of stairs to get to the apartment landing. No problem for us but if mobility is limited this could pose a problem. Also, there is a large homeless population in the area. They did not cause us any problems but they can be noisy during the night.

And there was plenty of room for everyone. I loved that the check out list was simple. Negative: There was light pouring straight into your face in the main bedroom from a street lamp. The location is super loud. There were druggies shooting up all over the place. It was very sketchy taking small children into the building. The pull out bed didn’t work - and the beds were very tall and a fall risk for small kids. But we made it work. Netflix etc didn’t work.
